Grade 6 Nature Journals

Grade 6 science students are studying ecology this spring. They spend time each week completing nature journal entries about their observations of the natural world wherever they can safely engage with it—in their backyard, local park, from their window, or even on webcams from conservation areas. In their observations, they look for examples of concepts they cover in their synchronous classes on Zoom. At the end of each week, class members report on what they observed as a means of sharing their experiences and enhancing connections.

Thank you Dr. Gallon for the great share from your classroom!
