Our Lower School Buddy Apple Picking Trip is a highlight for our Lower School Community! This annual tradition not only brings our Lower School community together but also fosters an appreciation for local agriculture.

Last years Grade 8 art class created steampunk-inspired sculpture that is newly installed in our Art Barn!

In the fall, the Brimmer Kitchen offers a wonderful selection of local apple varieties. The apples come from orchards in Massachusetts and Rhode Island!

Lower School students were thrilled to meet their new buddies for the year.

We were delighted to welcome our new and returning students at our Opening Convocation ceremony. We kicked off the school year by introducing our talented new faculty and staff members, who are eager to guide and inspire our students in their educational journey.

The 8th Grade Commencement Celebration was an incredibly special event featuring great speeches and certificates of completion.

Brimmer's Lower School Closing Ceremony was a wonderful event marking the end of Lower School for our fifth graders and the end of the school year for our students.

We had a great turnout for Alumni Day 2024. The day began with an alumni vs. students basketball game. It was a great game, but the best part was the opportunity to catch up with our alumni back on campus.

Brimmer's 144th Commencement took place on May 31st. It was a wonderful celebration of the Class of 2024's accomplishments.

This year marked the 22nd year of Brimmer’s Academy Awards, an annual celebration of our students’ contributions to the performing and visual arts programs throughout the year!

The Middle School Production of The Addams Family was outstanding!

The Upper School Sculpture class recently had the amazing opportunity to participate in Raku firing! 

There was a lot of excitement on campus with our special announcement about the Building Our Tomorrow campaign!

The Lower School Spring Concert was a spectacular evening celebrating the musical endeavors of our students in Grades 2-5.

The turnout for the 2024 Spring Carnival was incredible, and we're so grateful to have such a supportive community here at Brimmer.

Our Science Department planned an immersive learning experience for our PK-12 students so we could embrace the solar eclipse as a whole School community!

Students in grade 6 completed their in-depth study of bridges in science with an exhibition. Students built their bridges out of pasta and then tested how much weight their bridge could hold before collapsing.

The Kitchen crew switched the beverage options to more naturally flavored and minimal sugar options.

Fourth graders recently honored the traditions and history of two unique Asian countries—India and Japan—at FourthFest 2024.

In honor of the Lunar New Year, Mandarin classes transformed the Innovation Space and hosted the annual Temple Fair.

We were thrilled to bring back a beloved Brimmer event, the Community Cultural Festival, which took place on February 1st in the Corkin Dining Commons.

Circles 20: A Coffee House was everything Mr. Jacob and Mr. Barker-Hook hoped it would be. It was the largest audience turnout in years, with many alums and former faculty returning.

Our 19th Annual Bissell Grogan Humanities Symposium, AI and Its impact on Humanity, featured keynote speaker Dr. Raja-Elie Abdulnour P '29. The message that AI is a powerful tool, but one that needs verification and human creativity to harness its potential, was a strong take away.

Each January, we gather to honor our colleagues for their long-term service to the School. This year, we celebrated the milestone anniversaries of 17 Brimmer faculty and staff.

Congratulations to Maya Lownie '24 for winning the 2024 Annual Shakespeare Competition sponsored by the English Speaking Union.

Congratulations to The Gator staff for winning their 4th consecutive prestigious national award for overall excellence from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
